Even though in an assistance company, helping others should be a core value, Middlesea Assist in Malta has decided to help not only those in need of a tyre change, a leak detection or a medical service, but also those children who suffer from an innate difficulty to communicate.

Complex communication is a large part of what makes us human and fulfils us as individuals and when children have difficulties in developing their communication skills, either because of physical disabilities such as deafness or development disorders such as autism, it inevitably affects their potential to become independent adults and fulfil their potential.

The Malta Trust Foundation, founded by President Emeritus Marie Louise Coleiro Preca helps these children by sponsoring the equipment they need to become wholesome adults and active contributors to society.  During May, Middlesea Assist has set up a fund raising marathon to help collect funds for this noble cause.
